As a member of the "family" organization of the Sheriff's Department, you've become part of a very special, close-knit group. With the exception of the Foundation, which is involved with a variety of charitable activities, SRA exists solely for the
benefit of members.
It is an exciting time for our Association, and the ideal time to become a member.
The Sheriffs' Relief Association was organized in March of 1924, as the Benevolent Arm of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Its primary purpose was to address the needs of department members during individual times of family crisis.
